Llamas! New Art

Yesterday I spent the majority of my time in a windowless poorly ventilated room painting the walls and ceiling.  To make this work a tad less onerous I had an energy drink (Rockstar - my favourite!), but unfortunately my tolerance for taurine has dramatically fallen since my school days, so it also kept me up for most of the night.

I decided to use the extra energy and uninterrupted time to work on an idea that had been floating around in my head for the last few weeks.  Also, it's been quite a while since I added any new art.  So ta da!  This is my abstract(ish) llama.  Why a llama?  I have no idea.  Why abstract?  It's a mystery to me too.  But I hope you like it nonetheless.

A fellow blogger and friend suggested to me recently that I should throw up some of my own artwork.  Seeing as this blog is in part an outlet for my various interests and in part an addition to my resume, I figured "why not?"  So without further adieu, here they are.
Demi Moore

Madonna - I ran into a little trouble with her hair....

An extract from Raphael.

Part of Michelangelo's Pieta.

Incomplete - this is from last month's Vogue.  Still working on the Christian Dior dress's pattern.

A still from Tarsem Singh's The Fall.  An excellent movie that I cannot recommend enough.

A try at some versatility, as well as an attempt at the male face, which I have yet to master.
